Job Description
* Financial analysis of savings programmes
* Costing savings proposals
* Supporting tracking of savings against run rates.
* Ensure financial compliance and risk management
* Develop and implement financial strategies and budgets
* Provide comprehensive financial reports to stakeholders
* Oversee the preparation of annual financial statements
* Collaborate with other department heads to achieve organisational goals
* Manage financial audits and provide recommendations for procedural improvements
* Provide financial advice and guidance to the organisation's leaders
The Successful Applicant
A successful 8A Senior Finance Manager should have:
* Efficiency programmes, costing and financial analysis.
* Professional accounting qualification (e.g. ACCA, CIMA)
* Previous experince working within the NHS.
* Proven experience in a senior financial managerial position
* Strong knowledge of financial regulations and accounting processes
* Proficiency in financial software
* Excellent leadership and team management abilities
* Exceptional communication and presentation skills
* Ability to strategize and solve problems
