THE ROLE
The role is within the Browns Pricing & Commercial team in the Merchandising department. It involves managing pricing and commercial strategies across all channels aligned with business goals. The position is crucial for contributing to group financial targets. We seek an analytical, commercially-minded candidate with strong attention to detail who can work cross-functionally to manage effective trading and profit targets.
The Pricing & Commercial Analyst will leverage data to identify, drive, and execute strategies to maximize profitability, support business performance, and manage inventory effectively. The role involves optimizing pricing and commercial processes to develop strategic models and workflows supporting our targets. The ideal candidate enjoys working autonomously and collaboratively, is data-driven, and supports the strategy set by the Pricing & Commercial Manager.
What You'll Do
* Lead and execute pricing and commercial strategies to support Browns and group targets.
* Analyze data to gain insights on pricing and commercial performance, market position, and proactively identify opportunities for sell-through improvement and profitability.
* Report on performance metrics including market price position, profit, sell-through, and contribution to the business.
* Review and optimize processes and reports for better efficiency.
* Collaborate with analysts, buying, merchandising, procurement, data teams, and operations to align on priorities.
* Serve as the main contact for Browns’ pricing and commercial strategies and support the manager with ad hoc requests.
Who You Are
* Confident with large, complex data sets.
* Analytical with the ability to derive clear insights and strategic actions.
* Commercially aware; experience in luxury or fashion retail is a plus.
* Advanced Excel skills; SQL/BigQuery experience; knowledge of Looker/Power BI is advantageous.
* Strong problem-solving and optimization skills.
* Self-motivated, organized, detail-oriented.
* Adaptable and effective in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
