We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join a premier team of at the, Royal Air Force (RAF), United Kingdom.

What will be your primary role?

This is a developmental position for a Manpower and Organizational Analyst, designed to provide comprehensive training and experience necessary to reach the full performance level. Your primary duty is to conduct studies and analyses of limited scope and assist in broader organizational studies. You will provide basic management consultant capabilities to improve mission effectiveness, resource efficiency, and resource savings. You will be responsible for planning, developing, and conducting portions of organizational structure, workforce staffing/utilization, and/or space utilization studies to improve processes and maximize resources. You will conduct work measurement, methods and procedures, manpower requirements utilization, and/or engineered time standard studies for procedural or factual issues. You'll also assist in competitive sourcing studies, management surveys, and/or research projects. You'll support internal management services, including program cost monitoring, fiscal planning, and productivity programs. What are the Key Skills required for this role?

1. Knowledge and skill in the application of DOD, Joint, and AF management engineering principles, concepts, and methodologies and basic financial management directives, concepts, procedures, guidance, and policy.

2. Skill in applying analytical and evaluative techniques to the identification, consideration, and resolution of issues or problems of a procedural or factual nature to devise organizational structuring options for organizations of a limited scope.

3. Skill in conducting interviews with supervisors and employees to obtain information about organizational missions, functions, and work procedures.

4. Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, to gain cooperation from others through tact, courtesy, and diplomacy.

5. Ability to access or locate information through the use of a personal computer and software programs.

What are the conditions of employment for this role?

1. You will be required to handle and safeguard sensitive information in accordance with applicable US and UK laws, rules and regulations.

2. You may be required to travel by military and/or civilian aircraft and you may also be required to travel to the US or other country, in the performance of official duties or attend necessary training, this position may also be coded as mission essential.

3. You will be required to complete a 6-month probationary period.

4. Overtime may be required, and you may be assigned other duties not included in this position description, but that are appropriate to the grade and skill set of the incumbent.

5. Must be able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.

6. The Local National Direct Hire (LNDH) Program does not participate in regular drug testing, however positions covered by this document may be subject to drug testing upon reasonable suspicion of substance abuse, and safety mishap or accident testing.

S-09 Qualifications:

* Specialized Experience or

* Masters or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level education leading to such degree

S-11 Qualifications:

* Specialized Experience at the lower grade (S-09) or

* Ph.D or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level education to such degree
