Independent Forgings and Alloys (IFA) have an exciting opportunity to join their Maintenance team as a Maintenance Electrician The role is working Monday to Friday on working on rotating 2 shift pattern Monday to Friday - 6am-1.30pm and 12-7.30pm.
Main duties of the role:
* Planned Preventative Maintenance tasks
* Installation of new plant
* Planning electrical maintenance tasks for completion during the shutdown
* Development and upgrading of existing equipment
* Good knowledge of safety and permit to work systems
* Reactive Maintenance
* PAT testing
* Inspection and testing of electrical equipment
You Should be:
* Apprentice trained maintenance engineer with electrical bias
* Previous experience in heavy industrial environment
* NVQ Level 3 in electrical engineering or equivalent
* 17th Edition wiring regulations
* Have experience in fault finding, wiring and instrumentation work, preventative maintenance (PPM) reactive maintenance
* Fault finding on PLC
