Job Description
An Interim HR Consultant to:
3. Support academics with handling complex performance cases with senior staff members
4. Lead the structure and process for difficult conversations
5. Partner with Heads of to coach on how to have challenging conversations and understand the options for reducing their team size and managing under-performance
6. Develop a robust framework for managing under-performance
7. Design longer term initiatives to help create a change in performance management and capability
8. Partner with stakeholders to strengthen performance management capability and accountability
The Successful Applicant
An Interim HR Consultant with:
9. Proven track record in handling complex performance cases
10. Strong knowledge of improving performance management and capability with managers
11. Previous experience working in higher education or with academics essential
12. Open to a candidate who is an ER specialist or a HR Business Partner background, ideally with change management experience
