We are seeking a highly organised and proactive School Site Manager to oversee daily operations at a Primary School in Harborne. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of activities, locking up of both sites of schools, maintaining safety standards, and fostering a productive environment. This role is offered on a full time, temporary basis, hours being 11am - 7pm.
Responsibilities
* Coordinate and supervise daily site activities to ensure operational efficiency.
* Lock up 2 school sites, be able to drive across 2 sites
* Manage staff schedules, assign tasks, and monitor performance to meet organisational goals.
* Support teaching staff with classroom set-up, basic repairs, and clean-up as required.
* Implement health and safety protocols in compliance with legal requirements and company policies.
* Oversee maintenance of equipment and facilities, ensuring they are kept in optimal condition.
* Foster a positive working environment by providing guidance, support, and training to team members.
* Liaise with clients, contractors, and internal departments to facilitate effective communication.
* Organise training sessions or workshops, leveraging teaching skills to enhance team knowledge and skills.
Skills
* Proven experience in a supervisory or managerial role within a similar environment.
* Strong organisational and leadership abilities with excellent problem-solving skills.
* Effective communicator with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
* Demonstrable teaching skills, capable of delivering training or educational content clearly and engagingly.
* Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to site management.
* Proficient in organisational tools such as MS Office or specialised management software
