About the role
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Vehicle Mechanic to join our growing workshop team.
This role is ideal for someone who:

What youll be doing
* Carrying out servicing, repairs, and maintenance to a high standard
* Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults efficiently and accurately
* Repairing and replacing components with a focus on quality and durability
* Road testing vehicles to ensure work meets required standards
* Completing documentation clearly and accurately
* Maintaining tools and equipment in line with safety expectations
* Following processes and checklists to ensure consistency and compliance
Youll also play an important role in:
* Supporting colleagues across the workshop and other departments
* Contributing to continuous improvement through ideas and feedback
* Helping maintain a positive, professional, and team-focused working environment
What were looking for
* NVQ Level 2 / City & Guilds Level 2 (or equivalent), or significant practical experience
* Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
* A flexible, can-do attitude with a solution-focused approach
* Ability to work independently and as part of a wider team
* Good communication skills and a willingness to collaborate
* High attention to detail and pride in workmanship
* Ability to meet deadlines without compromising quality
* Full UK driving licence (D1 desirable but not essential)
* Honest, reliable, and committed
