M1/M2 Qualified Traffic Management Operative - Exeter
Our client requires Traffic Management Operatives in the Exeter area to carry out tasks such as setting up temporary traffic lights, manning road closures and using a stop/go board and other Traffic Management roles.
Responsibilities
* Set up temporary traffic lights and traffic control devices as required.
* Manning road closures and directing traffic in accordance with safety procedures.
* Use a stop/go board and other Traffic Management tasks as needed.
Requirements and qualifications
* Lantra M1/2 and ideally an M5 (not essential)
* CSCS card (Preferred)
* Good timekeeping skills
* Driving Licence (Preferred)
* Willingness and flexibility to undertake some shifts out of normal working hours
* Willingness to carry out other tasks upon request
Skills
* Ability to work as part of a team
* Ability to carry out work to a high standard
* Good communication skills
Hours and pay
Hours of work: Monday – Friday, days or nights.
Rate of Pay: £12.50 per hour. Overtime at 150% after 40 hours Monday – Friday, nights and Saturdays. Standby payments for being on call Monday – Thursday or Friday - Sunday.
