Evaluation of Effectiveness of Interventions with Perpetrators of Domestic Abuse
Rise Mutual CIC in conjunction with Loughborough University is inviting applications for three full-time fully funded doctoral positions. The aim of these doctoral projects is to develop novel approaches to evaluating the outcomes and effectiveness of DA interventions and/or explore approaches to intervention development.
The work will draw for cases on the current programmes offered by RISE Mutual to perpetrators of domestic abuse and seek to demonstrate their effectiveness to perpetrators, victims, clients and commissioners.
The scope explores three different dimensions of domestic abuse interventions focusing on outcomes rather than outputs, the exploration being underpinned by the development and application of cybernetic reasoning.
The three dimensions envisaged are:
Perpetrator evaluation methods and effectiveness Culturally informed family interventions including LGBTQ+ relationships C. Organisational Culture and Structure and responses to Domestic violence and abuse
