We match our Live In Care CAREGivers to our clients based on mutual interests and hobbies to help build bonds of trust and enables us to provide personalised support.Job DescriptionWe are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Part-time Domiciliary Support Worker to join our team in Wigan, United Kingdom. As a domiciliary support worker, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals in their own homes, enabling them to maintain their independence and quality of life.

* Assist service users with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
* Support with medication management, ensuring prescribed medications are taken correctly and on time
* Help with meal preparation and feeding when necessary
* Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe living environment
* Provide companionship and emotional support to service users
* Assist with mobility and transfers, using appropriate equipment when required
* Monitor and report any changes in service users' health or wellbeing to the care coordinator
* Maintain accurate records of care provided and any incidents or concerns
* Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and family members to ensure comprehensive care
* Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies
* Companion calls
* Domestic support around the home

Strong interpersonal skills with a caring and empathetic approach
* Excellent time management and organisational abilities
* Basic healthcare knowledge and understanding of person-centred care
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Physical stamina to perform care tasks and assist with mobility
* Previous experience in domiciliary care or a similar role is preferred
* NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent qualification is desirable
* First Aid certification is advantageous
* Understanding of safeguarding procedures and commitment to protecting vulnerable adults
* Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
* Valid driving licence and access to own vehicle may be required for some positions
