Children's Residential Home Manager – Leicestershire
Salary: £60,000 – £80,000 per year (dependent on experience, qualifications & Ofsted track record)

A new and ambitious children's services company is seeking an experienced Children's Residential Home Manager to lead its newly refurbished EBD home in Leicestershire.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in launching and leading a flagship provision, with scope for progression to oversee multiple sites or regional operations.
What we're looking for
We are seeking a committed childcare professional who meets the following criteria:
* Minimum 5 years' experience in a childcare setting, including at least 2 years in a management or supervisory role.
* NVQ Level 3 in Children & Young People's Workforce (mandatory).
* Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (England) (or currently working towards it).
* Strong knowledge of Children's Homes Regulations 2015 and Ofsted standards.
* Proven ability to deliver high-quality care and lead a team to achieve 'Good' or 'Outstanding' Ofsted ratings.
* Experience in opening new homes or services is highly desirable.
* A track record of being outcome-focused, with evidence of improving care standards.
Your responsibilities
* Support Directors and the Responsible Individual through the Ofsted registration process (application in progress).
* Lead day-to-day operations of the home in line with legislation, policies, and the Statement of Purpose.
* Drive quality standards, aiming for 'Good' or 'Outstanding' ratings.
* Provide leadership and supervision to the staff team, including recruitment, onboarding, and training.
* Safeguard and promote the welfare, education, and wellbeing of children and young people.
* Ensure recommendations from inspections and Regulation 44 visits are acted upon promptly.
* Prepare and deliver accurate reports for reviews, case conferences, and senior management.
* Build and maintain a positive culture that supports each child's physical, emotional, spiritual, and cultural needs.
