About the role
We're thrilled to be opening our very first standalone store at Gunwharf Quays and we're looking for a Assistant Store Manager who can bring the Hush spirit to life. This is an exciting chance to take support in creating a welcoming environment where our deliberately dressed-down style meets outstanding customer experience.
As Assistant Store Manager, you'll support the Store Manager in all aspects of the store's day-to-day running. You'll lead by example on the shop floor, help drive commercial performance, and ensure that every customer interaction reflects our laid-back yet elevated style. We're looking for someone dependable, enthusiastic, and passionate about fashion, people, and creating standout in-store experiences.
Our store is at its best when the whole team is around, so you'll be contracted to 40 hours per week – weekends included – as part of the flow of store life.
What you'll do
* Support the Store Manager in ensuring smooth and efficient daily store operations.
* Lead by example to deliver outstanding customer service aligned with the Hush brand and lifestyle.
* Contribute to achieving sales targets and KPIs by motivating and guiding the team.
* Take ownership of key areas such as stock management, floor standards, and team development.
* Maintain high visual merchandising standards, ensuring the store consistently reflects the Hush aesthetic.
What You'll Bring
* 2 years+ experience in a retail management or supervisory role, ideally in a fashion or lifestyle environment.
* A genuine enthusiasm for Hush and the ability to translate that passion to the customer experience.
* Strong commercial awareness with an understanding of how to drive performance through people and product.
* A customer-first mindset, ensuring every interaction reflects brand values and builds loyalty.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively.
