We're looking for a Construction Lead to join our Natural Resources, Nuclear & Network teams.
Location: Flexible within the Anglian Water region - mixture of office work, site visits, and home working.
Hours: 45 hours per week
In this role, you will work on the Anglian Water IMRDS alliance (integrated maintenance, repair & development services). The team maintains water supply systems, handles emergency repairs like water bursts, and develops new ways to better serve customers.
What will you be responsible for?
As the Construction Lead, you'll work within the mainslaying team, committed to delivering high-quality, efficient solutions for critical infrastructure projects.
You will lead the planned works construction team, delivering over 300 schemes annually to improve the asset base, while being innovative and sustainable.
Your daily responsibilities include:
* Collaborating with Engineering & Planning Managers to ensure solutions are delivered on time, within scope and budget
* Managing delivery teams across the region, including Senior Delivery Agents and their teams
* Ensuring active engagement in governance processes and reviewing scheme construction packs before approval
* Monitoring and reviewing commercial data
* Driving excellence in Health & Safety
What are we looking for?
This role suits you if you have:
* Extensive management experience within the construction/water sector
* Experience in contract management and site supervision
* Experience with water network construction projects and distribution systems, with a good understanding of regulatory frameworks
* Strong commercial awareness
* The ability to understand infrastructure from strategic, tactical, and operational perspectives
* Skills in balancing solution requirements with service delivery capabilities
* Good understanding of the ROV process, especially root cause analysis
* A full driving license
