The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills both written and verbal, and a strong customer focus with the ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels. Ensuring you execute the transport plan.
You will have ideally worked in a similar role or be familiar with the agricultural/farming sector or have previous transport experience. Who are we looking for:
* Preferred previous experience in a similar Transport/Logistics administrative role is preferred.
* Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills.
* Ability to problem solve and suggest effective resolutions.
* Excellent proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
* A self-starter, possessing good attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.

Responsibilities
* Driver and farmer communication regarding their planned jobs for the day
* Monitoring the execution of the plan throughout the day to ensure it runs smoothly and any impacts to the collection and delivery performance are minimised. Communication with all parties including farmers, drivers, FSC's, CSC's, TSC's maintaining excellent communication at all times.
* Working with vehicle management team/ensure all MOT's and servicing is adhered to
* Ensuring drivers are complying with regulations
* Make sure 3rd party haulage remain compliant
