Maintenance Manager – Power Station

Intro
TRG are recruiting for a Maintenance Manager to join an energy from waste power station in Dundee. This is a pivotal role where you’ll be responsible for keeping the plant running safely, efficiently, and reliably while driving performance and improvement across the site.
The Role
* Manage and lead the site maintenance team on a day-to-day basis
* Take ownership of the maintenance budget and oversee procurement of parts, services and contractors
* Plan and deliver preventative maintenance, defect rectification and planned outages
* Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental standards at all times
* Provide support and direction to the team, helping to develop skills and maintain high performance
* Act as deputy to the Plant Manager when needed, including liaising with regulators and external stakeholders
What We’re Looking For
* HND/HNC level qualification in a relevant engineering discipline
* A strong background in a supervisory maintenance role within a heavy process industry (waste, energy, chemical or power generation would be ideal). Senior Marine Engineer from the Navy will also be considered
* Strong knowledge of maintenance systems, budgets and contractor management
* Understanding of health & safety regulations (NEBOSH certificate would be a bonus)
* A hands-on leader with good organisational and communication skills
