Residential Children’s Practitioner Level 2 (Children with Disabilities)

Marshfield’s, Kings Lynn is a Short Break Residential home that provides short breaks for young people with disabilities and/or complex health needs aged 5 to 18 years.
We are recruiting 2 full‑time Residential Children’s Practitioners (RCP) Level 2 that will work in a child‑centred, fun and positive environment.
Responsibilities
* Provide personal care for young people, ensuring dignity, privacy and respect.
* Act as shift leader, leading the team on shift.
* Contribute to children’s care plans, attend meetings and ensure the views and wishes of the children are sought and acted upon.
* Engage in active play, provide creative activities, undertake manual handling and physical intervention where required.
* Work scheduled shift hours, including weekends, bank holidays, occasional night waking shifts and regular sleep‑in shifts with enhancements paid.
Qualifications and Experience
Experience and knowledge of working with children with a diverse range of individual needs, including neuro‑diverse young people.
Experience in caring for young people with complex health needs such as gastrostomy feeds, epilepsy and medication administration is desirable.
