Job Title: Sustainability & Energy Consultant
Location: Remote
Salary: £32,000 - £40,000 (depending on experience)
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Additional Information: This is a remote role with a requirement for travel to London for a monthly meeting.
Job Description:
1. Support the team in delivering SAP and Overheating calculations.
2. Provide energy and sustainability consultancy and energy strategy reports.
3. Assist in the growth of team and services it provides.
Responsibilities & Duties:
1. Undertake energy assessments/modelling & EPCs for new and existing buildings.
2. Undertake TM59 overheating assessments for new build projects.
3. Prepare energy strategy and decarbonisation reports.
4. Liaison with construction team professionals and clients to provide advice on meeting legislative targets.
5. Provide advice on reducing energy, CO2 emissions and construction costs.
6. Attend meetings to contribute to the building design process.
Minimum Qualifications & Skills:
1. New Build Domestic Energy Assessor (OCDEA), (Minimum 1 years’ experience).
2. Good understanding and knowledge of construction, sustainability and building regulations.
3. Excellent communication skills.
4. Organised and structured with a professional outlook and good interpersonal skills.
5. IES/Design Builder competent.
6. Effective team player and highly driven.
7. Clean driving license and access to own vehicle.
Additional Skills: Non-Domestic Energy Assessor (NDEA), BREAM Experience, Thermal modelling competent, Report writing
