Behaviour and Learning Support

Castle Education is working in partnership with a highly respected specialist provision in Scarborough, and we’re looking for a Behaviour and Learning Support professional to join their dedicated team this September.
This is a hands-on, rewarding role where you’ll be supporting students with significant behavioural challenges and additional needs, often on a 1:1 basis. This may include providing personal care and assisting pupils in managing intense, sometimes physical behaviours linked to emotional regulation and sensory needs.
What You’ll Be Doing:
1. Supporting students with challenging behaviour and complex emotional needs
2. Managing de-escalation and behaviour strategies in line with training and school policies
3. Providing personal care and assistance with hygiene routines when required
4. Supporting learning and engagement in both structured and flexible environments
5. Working closely with teaching staff, therapists, and pastoral teams
6. Creating a calm, safe, and supportive space for students to thrive
