Admin and Clerical Officer - Podiatry

HDFT Podiatry Services are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic individual to join our York and Selby locality admin team. There is potential to be based in our York or Harrogate hub, dependent on where the successful candidate lives.
Main duties of the job
* Support the Podiatry team with the administration of patient appointment bookings, the management of waiting lists and referrals and supporting patients with their queries.
* Facilitate the delivery of high-quality care by ensuring efficient and accurate use of the System One clinic booking module.
* Ensure compliance with the NHS Constitution and be familiar with the NHS England Guidance 'Understanding the new NHS' (details of which can be found in the links section of NHS Jobs)
About us
The Harrogate & District NHS Foundation Trust Podiatry department provides a podiatry service across North Yorkshire in four localities, from 42 clinical sites. The service is delivered to patients in both hospitals, and the community. We are fully integrated with multi-disciplinary teams dealing with specific treatment pathways and client groups.
Clinicians are supported by a range of administrative and secretarial staff.
We support colleagues to grow and develop in their roles with well established preceptorship and mentorship programs.

Qualifications
* 5 GCSE grade A-C
Experience
* Experience of working in a team
* Previous experience working in an Outpatient Bookings team.
* NHS experience
Skills
* IT literate
