Technical Project Manager
What You'll Be Doing
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced
Technical Design Project Manager
to oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of technical design projects within our organisation. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in managing project delivery, ensuring that all design solutions meet client requirements, align with industry standards, and are delivered within agreed timelines and budgets.
In this role, you will:
* Manage the end-to-end delivery of technical design projects, from initial concept through to completion.
* Coordinate and oversee the work of design and engineering teams, ensuring technical accuracy and compliance with specifications.
* Act as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders and external clients, ensuring clear communication and alignment at all stages of the project.
* Prepare and manage detailed project plans, budgets, and schedules, monitoring progress and reporting on performance against KPIs.
* Proactively identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring issues are escalated and resolved in a timely manner.
* Ensure all deliverables comply with organisational standards, regulatory requirements, and client expectations.
* Produce and present accurate progress reports, proposals, and technical documentation for senior management and stakeholders.
What We're Looking For
Essential Qualifications & Experience:
* Demonstrable experience as a
Project Manager
within a technical design, engineering, or construction environment.
* Strong technical knowledge of design processes, drawings, and industry standards.
* Proven ability to manage complex, multi-disciplinary projects within set budgets and timeframes.
* Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all organisational levels.
* Strong organisational skills and a methodical, detail-oriented approach.
* Proficiency with project management.
