Kindsight Recruitment are supporting a highly respected fostering organisation as they continue to expand their therapeutic wraparound provision. We are looking for a compassionate, grounded and flexible Therapeutic Support Worker to join their Walsall-based team.

Youll be stepping right into the heart of therapeutic fostering becoming a consistent, trusted adult for children who need predictable, nurturing support.
Youll work hands-on with children, young people and foster carers during the times of day that matter most early mornings, after school, weekends and school holidays providing real emotional stability and helping placements thrive.

?? What Youll Be Doing ? Delivering trauma-informed 1:1 support to children in foster placements
? Helping young people regulate emotions, build routines and develop resilience
? Supporting foster carers with therapeutic strategies (PACE, DDP, Secure Base)
? Being a warm, reliable presence during key times of the day
? Supporting school transitions, activities, community engagement and contact
? Helping stabilise placements through nurturing, consistent intervention
? Attending therapeutic planning meetings & reflective supervision
? Working closely with social workers, therapists and the wider team
? Supporting monthly childrens activity groups and well-being events
?? Location & Hours Based in Walsall, West Midlands
Full-time (37 hours) with flexible working patterns
Additional hours are compensated with TOIL
Occasional weekends and school holiday support required
?? What Were Looking For Experience supporting children or young people (trauma, SEN, EBD or fostering experience welcome)
NVQ Level 3 in Children & Young People (or equivalent) is desirable
Therapeutic training (PACE, DDP, Trauma-Informed Practice) is a huge bonus
A calm, emotionally intelligent person who can build trust quickly
