This is currently a temporary placement with the opportunitiy for it to become a permanent or long term position. Ideally, we would require the LSA to start at 8.30am so they can meet the pupil upon arrival at school. Year 2 breaks for lunch at 12 noon, and we would like the LSA to cover the first half hour of lunch (12.00pm–12.30pm) to support the pupil in the dining hall. The LSA would then return to the classroom from 1.00pm–3.30pm. Although the school day finishes at 3.15pm, the additional 15 minutes at the end of the day allows time for the LSA to hand the pupil over to their parent and to discuss any relevant matters with the class teacher before leaving at 3.30pm.
