TES is an engineering company created over 30 years ago, specializing in the coordination of tests and industrial commissioning. TES also supports customers in studies and coordination of assembly of industrial equipment.
Responsibilities
* Support the Building Lead in day‑to‑day construction planning, engineering and works progression of allocated building(s).
* Define boundary of scope of works.
* Liaise with necessary SMEs and client counterparts.
* Engage with constructability of the specified building(s) using building engineers to facilitate sequencing of installation maximizing efficiency.
* Manage project change within specified building(s) ensuring the project change process is adhered to, including construction documentation and scope change aspects of the contract in coordination with the Building Lead.
* Ensure documents are compliant with latest works information and other MEH documentation.
* Keep documents up‑to‑date and review at a minimum every 6 months.
* Own and drive deliverables from conception to A‑Accepted status with >90% first time accepted criteria.
* Prioritise and own documentation to enable construction works as per level 4 plan (e.g., T‑3 months accepted prior to works).
* Support continuous improvement programmes to improve process/procedures.
* Provide and demonstrate positive HSE leadership, building a strong and compliant HS&E culture throughout the construction life cycle.
* Ensure compliance with all nuclear safety and site licence requirements.
Key Deliverables
* Enable use of the Procon system to support construction works and progress reporting of the MEH Alliance.
* Raise and manage changes.
* Enable the requesting and compliance of the MEH Alliance for the Work Authorisation and Permit systems operated by NNB.
* LTQRs.
Qualifications / Experience
* Relevant degree in construction or electrical engineering.
* HNC in relevant construction discipline or electrical engineering with extensive experience working in this type of role.
* CCNSG Safety Passport.
* Capable of obtaining BPSS or higher security clearance.
* Professional accreditation desirable.
* Proven experience safely delivering large‑scale construction or engineering projects, including working at a management level of authority. Experience in heavy industry or nuclear sectors and joint ventures is beneficial.
* IT skills.
