Chef Manager
Pertemps Network Catering is seeking a temporary, potentially permanent, Chef Manager to work in schools located in Rugby, Warwickshire. The position involves shift patterns of 11:30 am – 7:30 pm and 7 am – 7:30 pm, working Monday to Sunday. The ideal candidate will have one or two days off per week, depending on operational demands, and must be consistent and adaptable.
This role involves preparing well-balanced and appetising meals for approximately 100 to 700 students, supporting their well-being and academic success.
Chef Manager Responsibilities:
* Adapt menus to accommodate dietary needs and allergies.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and food handling standards.
* Monitor food quality, portion control, and waste minimisation.
* Oversee food production and cooking processes.
* Manage food ordering and supplies.
* Maintain a clean and organised kitchen, adhering to safety and hygiene standards.
* Collaborate with kitchen staff for efficient operations.
* Assist in inventory management and budget control.
Chef Manager Qualifications:
* GNVQ Level 2/3 in Catering or equivalent.
