Role Overview
Within the role of SACT nurse within the Cancer centre, you will be working as part of the wider team to safely deliver Chemotherapy, Immunotherapy, targeted treatment and supportive treatments for Cancer patients.
Responsibilities
* Safely deliver SACT & supportive cancer treatments
* Perform clinical actives such as venepuncture, cannulation & access central lines
* Assess & interpret acute and other patient conditions, initiate actions as appropriate
* Communicate professionally, clearly and concisely with patients & their relatives
* Use electronic prescribing systems
* Take responsibility for concise documentation
