What You Will Do Oversee daily management of staff within the plaster room, ensuring efficient casting and splinting services. Apply and remove casts and braces confidently, including complex theatre applications. Deliver exceptional patient care, promoting safe mobility and comprehensive treatment planning. Support fracture clinics through chaperoning duties and wound care management. Maintain and manage equipment within the Plaster Room and Fracture Clinic. Train and mentor general nurses in advanced plastering and splinting techniques. Contribute to leadership responsibilities, including budget oversight and liaising with procurement teams.
