We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Warehouse Manager to lead our warehouse and logistics operations at Berwick Care. This role is pivotal in ensuring the efficient running of all warehouse functions, including goods-in, order fulfilment, transport planning, and team management. You’ll be responsible for driving operational excellence, maintaining safety and compliance standards, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the business. The successful candidate will combine a strategic mindset with a hands-on approach, bringing energy, leadership, and structure to a busy, fast-paced environment. You’ll work closely with internal teams to ensure the warehouse runs smoothly, meets service level expectations, and supports long-term business goals. Requirements Experience & Skills: Proven experience in a Warehouse Management role with a strong record of improving performance and efficiency. Experience managing, motivating, and developing warehouse and driving teams. Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to hold people accountable respectfully. Strategic thinker with practical, hands-on management abilities. Solid understanding of ERP, WMS, and transport routing software. Experience implementing Lean / 5S principles and process improvements. Analytical and organised with excellent problem-solving and planning abilities. Adaptable to change and comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment. Experience with warehouse machinery (e.g. forklifts, pallet wrappers, pallet trucks). Salary: Up to £40,000 per annum (DOE) Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent Hours: Monday – Friday (1-hour break, with flexibility for early finish based on weekly hours)
