Attendance Officer – Good Secondary School, Leicester Start Date: As soon as possible Contract: Full-time, Permanent Salary: Paid to scale School information: This is a well-established, Good Ofsted Rated Secondary School in Leicester for students aged 11 to 16, with a strong commitment to high standards, student wellbeing and continuous improvement. Requirements • Experience working in a school, attendance, pastoral or administrative role (desirable but not essential) • Strong understanding of attendance procedures and the importance of safeguarding in education • Confidence communicating with parents/carers in a professional, calm and assertive manner • Excellent organisational skills, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage sensitive information • Ability to work under pressure and respond effectively to time-sensitive tasks • Strong IT skills, including experience using MIS systems (SIMS/Arbor/Bromcom desirable) • A supportive and solution-focused approach, with a commitment to improving outcomes for young people • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a wider pastoral and safeguarding team Application To apply, please send your CV as soon as possible.
