The Role
To provide comprehensive audio typing and administrative support to a Physician/General Surgeon, Dental Consultant, or a group of Physicians/Surgeons/Dental Consultants or Associate Specialists.

What you'll need to bring
* Standard Grade education with RSA or equivalent typing qualification
* Experience in an office environment
* Proficiency with software systems
* Advanced keyboard skills
* Knowledge of medical terminology
* Good organizational and communication skills
Desirable qualifications and experience
* SVQ2 qualification or equivalent experience
* Experience in a busy medical setting
* Previous waiting list experience
* Ability to work effectively in a team and adapt to change
* Audio typing skills
Contract details
* Fixed-term or secondment for 12 months
* Part-time, 30 hours per week
* Salary will be pro-rata
* Note: Applicants must have line manager approval for secondment; this applies to current NHS staff seeking temporary transfer.
Location and working pattern
Based in the Surgical Directorate at University Hospital Monklands. Working days are Monday to Friday. Shortlisted candidates may be considered for similar roles elsewhere.
