Role Overview: Location: Buckinghamshire (with hybrid flexibility) Package: Competitive salary benefits Industry: Transport & Infrastructure What You’ll Be Doing: Act as a trusted advisor to managers, supporting the full employee lifecycle from onboarding to exit. Lead on employee relations matters, including disciplinaries, grievances, and performance management. Partner with business leaders to align people strategy with organisational goals. Deliver HR initiatives that drive engagement, development, and retention. Review and improve HR policies and processes to ensure consistency and compliance. Use people data to inform decision-making and workforce planning. Run training and workshops to build capability across the leadership team. Support recruitment, talent management, and reward benchmarking activities. Play a key role in fostering a values-led, inclusive working culture. Main Skills Needed: Solid HR generalist experience, ideally in a fast-paced or complex environment. Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices. Proven ability to manage complex employee relations cases with confidence. Experience delivering training and coaching to managers. Skilled at using HR systems and data to drive people decisions. Confident communicator, relationship-builder and influencer. CIPD Level 5 (or working towards) desirable.
