Teaching Personnel are supporting a specialist provision in Tadley in their search for an experienced and passionate MLD Teacher to join them full‑time from September. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated educator with a strong background in SEND, exceptional behaviour management, and a commitment to helping pupils with Moderate Learning Difficulties reach their full potential.

The Role
As an MLD Teacher, you will deliver a tailored curriculum to pupils typically working several years below age‑related expectations. You will plan engaging and differentiated lessons across core subjects, ensuring every child is supported, challenged and able to experience success.
You’ll work closely with specialist colleagues, therapists, curriculum leaders and parents to create a consistent, holistic approach that supports progress both in and beyond the classroom.

Key Responsibilities
* Deliver high‑quality lessons adapted to the individual needs of pupils with Moderate Learning Difficulties
* Promote positive behaviour and create a safe, purposeful learning environment
* Take a proactive role in curriculum planning, classroom delivery and assessment
* Work collaboratively with SEN teams, therapists, educational psychologists and external agencies
* Implement and monitor Individual Learning Plans (ILPs) in line with school policy
* Evaluate learning plans, adapt resources and model best practice for support staff
* Maintain strong communication with parents/carers and build positive relationships
* Ensure lessons are scaffolded effectively to support a wide range of abilities
* Use ongoing assessment and feedback to track progress and close learning gaps
* Uphold safeguarding responsibilities and contribute to a culture of safety and wellbeing

Experience working with MLD, PMLD, ASD or SEMH students is beneficial, but the school is equally open to strong teachers from mainstream backgrounds with the right attitude and a willingness to learn.
