Conveyancing Fee-Earner

* Salary: £45,000- £70,000 (dependant on experience)
* Location: Gillingham or Sittingbourne or Ashford (Ideally suited for candidates with access to a car)
* Job Type: Full-time (Hybrid Available)

We’re looking for a driven and detail-focused Conveyancing Fee-Earner, this is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a passion for property law to take the next step in their career. You’ll play a key role in managing your own caseload while being supported by experienced legal secretaries and a collaborative team environment. Day-to-day of the role:

* Manage a varied caseload of residential property transactions, including freehold, leasehold, sales, purchases, remortgages, and transfers of equity.
* Deliver outstanding client service, ensuring smooth and efficient transactions with clear and proactive communication.
* Supervise and mentor support staff, fostering development within the team.
* Actively contribute to business development, networking, and marketing initiatives to grow the firm’s reputation and client base.
* Provide support to colleagues as required, particularly during absences.
* Ensure compliance with risk management procedures and regulatory standards.
* Continue professional development, staying up to date with legal and market trends.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

* Legal Qualifications – A Law Degree, LPC, or an equivalent technical qualification (CILEx or Licensed Conveyancer). Applications from experienced conveyancers without formal qualifications are also welcome.
* Conveyancing Expertise – Experience in handling residential property matters, with the ability to manage files independently.
* IT Proficiency – Experience using case management systems and confidence in working with digital workflows.
* Strong Communication Skills – Clear and professional written and verbal communication, with a focus on excellent client care.
* Drive & Ambition – A strong work ethic and a commitment to career progression.
* Team Player Mentality – A collaborative and supportive approach, working effectively within a dynamic team.
