Children in this nursery spend much of the day outside - digging, planting, building, exploring woodland areas and engaging in child-led activities - with structured planning in line with the EYFS.
As a Nursery Practitioner, you will build strong relationships with your key-children and families, delivering high-quality and child led activities, ensuring that they build confidence and reach their full potential.

* A full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification is required.
* Recent experience in a nursery delivering EYFS-based activities is essential.
* You must be confident leading outdoor learning and managing a key group independently.

What You'll Need
* Full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification
* Experience as a Nursery Practitioner in an EYFS setting
* Confidence leading outdoor play and learning activities
* Strong understanding of safeguarding and risk assessment
* Ability to manage a key group independently
What You'll Do
* Plan and deliver child-led activities in line with EYFS, with emphasis on outdoor learning
* Lead forest school sessions and support safe risk-taking in outdoor environments
* Act as key person, completing observations, assessments and progress reviews
* Maintain accurate learning records and development tracking
* Follow safeguarding and health and safety procedures, particularly outdoors
* Work alongside colleagues and external instructors to coordinate daily routines
