Our client convert biomass into sustainable products, these products can then be further processed to make fuels. Due to continued growth, they are now looking to add a Project Engineer to their team. ResponsibilitiesPrepares projects plans and multi-discipline documents; schedules, coordinates, and monitors the project to ensure successful delivery.Monitors compliance to applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards and specifications.Interacts daily with the projects team to interpret their needs and requirements and represent them in the field.Perform overall quality control of the work (budget, schedule, plans, team’s performance) and report regularly on project status.Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.Manages 3rd party sub-contractors and construction teams onsite.Works with and communicates effectively with the Project Manager and other stakeholders to provide assistance and technical support.Reviews engineering deliverables, understands, and works to quality systems; monitors and acts on deficiencies.Ensures that Health, Safety, and Environmental issues are identified and addressed in design, manufacture, construction, commissioning, and operations. Experience & QualificationsCandidates will hold a Degree level qualification or recognised qualification in an Engineering discipline – chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or similar.Ideally you will be a Chartered Engineer and member of recognised institutionStrong technical understanding and proven experience of process plant in renewables, oil & gas, petrochemicals or similar.Experience in the delivery of CAPEX projects is essential.Installation of pilot scale plant and/or full EPC projects is highly desirableProficient with MS Project or other project management software and NavisworksAble to collaborate with vendors, contractors, and suppliers; Participate in project meetings and resolve technical issues.Ability to plan individual work activities and time management; collaborates with other disciplines to ensure timely delivery of information.
