<div><h3>Job Overview</h3><p>Senior Test Solutions Engineer – DASS project on the Eurofighter Typhoon. This role supports the engineering management of test solutions for microwave, RF, digital and analogue systems.</p><h3>Key Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Create and capture requirements for Test Equipment Requirement Specifications (TERS)</li><li>Ensure effective implementation of the life‑cycle design review process</li><li>Contribute to engineering technical quality, schedule and budget</li><li>Support management of suppliers, project governance and make/buy decisions</li><li>Identify technical risks and mitigation strategies (e.g., test solutions or obsolescence)</li><li>Document design rationale for changes and provide input to Material Review Boards and Failure Review Boards</li><li>Manage concession closure plans and enforcement</li></ul><h3>Required Qualifications</h3><ul><li>Hands‑on experience designing complex test solutions across the full life cycle</li><li>Good understanding of electronic technologies from DC to low‑light and of systems/software engineering lifecycle</li><li>Experience working with external suppliers and outsourcing complex work packages</li><li>Extensive knowledge of NI LabVIEW and TestStand</li><li>Degree qualified (or equivalent)</li><li>Strong schedule and budget control skills</li><li>Effective communication with a wide range of stakeholders</li><li>Knowledge of engineering life cycle and business process</li></ul><h3>Nice to Have</h3><ul><li>Good understanding of digital/analogue/RF systems with ESM and ECM</li><li>Experience in the defence electronics sector, ideally airborne sensor systems</li></ul><h3>Security Clearance</h3><p>Subject to pre‑employment screening in line with the UK Government’s BPSS. Additional personnel security controls such as NSV may apply, potentially requiring SC or DV clearance.</p><h3>Location & Working Arrangements</h3><p>Primary location: Luton, GB – Green 300.</p><p>Contract type: Permanent with flexible hybrid working options.
