Our client prides itself on a strong reputation for efficiency and excellent service within the logistics sector, with a team of between 66 and 250 employees. This ongoing role offers an excellent opportunity for a reliable individual to become a valued part of their industrious workforce. The position offers a competitive rate of £12.21 per hour, with paid breaks, ensuring your efforts are recognised and rewarded.
1. Accurately and efficiently pick, pack, and prepare orders for dispatch
2. Unload deliveries and ensure goods are stored correctly within the warehouse
3. Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to health and safety standards
4. Use warehouse equipment such as trolleys and handheld scanners to complete tasks
5. Report any damaged or missing stock to management promptly
6. Assist with stock counts and inventory checks as required
7. Previous experience working as a Warehouse Assistant or Operative is preferred
8. Reliability and a strong work ethic with attention to detail
9. Ability to work efficiently within a team and independently
10. Good organisational skills and a proactive approach to tasks
11. Flexibility to adapt to changing demands of the role
12. Basic health and safety awareness in a warehouse environment
