Role: IT Support Engineer
Location: Abingdon, Oxfordshire
Model: On-site, Full-time
Salary: Up to £35,000 + Performance Related Bonus
An established IT services provider is looking for a customer-focused IT Support Engineer to join its growing technical team. This role is primarily office-based, delivering remote support to a wide client base, with occasional on-site assistance.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide remote and occasional on-site IT support to business clients
* Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues
* Configure and support Windows devices, servers, and peripherals
* Assist with networking equipment including switches, routers, and firewalls
* Support Microsoft 365, Azure, and cloud-based services
* Carry out system maintenance and preventative support tasks
Key Skills & Experience:
* Previous experience in a similar IT support role (essential)
* Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11 and Microsoft technologies
* Experience with TCP/IP networking, routers, switches, and firewalls
* Microsoft 365 and Azure experience
* Active Directory / Azure AD administration and Group Policy
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* UK Driving License is required
