Job Description
We are seeking to appoint a Teaching Assistant with a minimum of a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification to work in EYFS as a 1:1 SEND TA with a Reception child. This role is on a 1 term temporary contract, to be reviewed at the end of the term. The successful candidate will join our current team of dedicated Teaching Assistants.
The successful candidate should be able to work alongside the class teacher as well as being able to plan, deliver and evaluate work on a 1:1 basis. The successful candidate will have experience of working as part of a team and will be able to contribute to the life of the school. We are looking for a teaching assistant who demonstrates a personal Christian faith and is confident in discussing this with others. There is a requirement for the post holder to be a practising Christian who is able to contribute to pupil Bible teaching discussion and prayer times, in accordance with the School Mission, Vision, Values and Faith Statement. This is an occupational requirement.
A current paediatric first aid qualification would be an advantage.
