CNC Turner - Fanuc Control - Medium‑Sized Engineering Firm
Experienced CNC Turner required for a permanent role with a medium‑sized engineering firm.
Our client is seeking a skilled CNC Turner to join their team.
Key Responsibilities
* Program, set, and operate CNC turning machines using Fanuc controls.
* Follow offline programming, tooling sheets, and machining instructions.
* Download CNC programs and save proven files once parts are inspected.
* Operate manual machining centres where applicable.
* Maintain high standards of housekeeping and minimise waste.
* Read, interpret, and work from engineering drawings accurately.
* Change tool inserts and adjust offsets to meet drawing specifications and tolerances.
* Monitor quality and productivity, supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
* Follow written instructions, safe working practices, and maintain a tidy work area.
* Report any quality, safety, or machine issues to your supervisor or line manager.
Candidate Requirements
* Minimum 4 years’ experience on CNC turning machines.
* Proficient in Fanuc control systems.
* Able to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
* High levels of concentration and focus to meet production targets and deadlines.
* Reliable, proactive, and quality‑focused.
Hours & Pay
* Monday – Thursday: 6:00 am – 3:00 pm.
* 36 hours per week.
