The Role: An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Engineer to join a main contractor delivering major highways and infrastructure projects. As a Senior Engineer, you will take full responsibility for setting out, engineering control, and quality assurance while mentoring and coordinating the site engineering team. Key Responsibilities: * Oversee setting out, engineering control, and quality compliance. * Support the Site Agent in planning and managing resources. * Supervise and mentor site engineers while coordinating subcontractors. * Prepare and implement RAMS, ITPs, and quality checks. * Ensure compliance with highway specifications and project requirements. * Maintain accurate records, surveys, and QA documentation. * Assist the commercial team with early warnings (EWs) and compensation events (CEs). Requirements: * Proven experience as a Senior Engineer in highways, infrastructure, or civil engineering. * Strong setting-out skills using Levels, EDM, and GPS. * NVQ Level 3 or higher in Civil Engineering (or equivalent). * SMSTS & CSCS certification. * Proficiency in AutoCAD and Office 365.
