The Vacancy
We’re looking for a qualified and motivated Electrician to join our responsive maintenance team, delivering high-quality electrical repairs and installations across social housing properties in the Barnsley area.
🔍 What you’ll do:
1. Carry out electrical repairs, fault finding, and installations in occupied and void properties.
2. Ensure all work complies with current regulations and safety standards.
3. Respond to emergency call-outs and urgent maintenance requests.
4. Work collaboratively with tenants, housing officers, and other trades.
✅ What you’ll need:
5. Level 3 NVQ or equivalent in Electrical Installation
6. 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
7. 2391 Inspection & Testing qualification (or equivalent)
8. Experience in social housing or domestic maintenance is highly desirable.
9. A full UK driving licence.
