Our award-winning charity is looking for a volunteer Bookkeeper to maintain our financial records. Duties include working closely with our Head of Accounts and to accurately record all day-to-day financial transactions of our company.

What are we looking for?
* Proven bookkeeping experience
* Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable/receivable principles
* Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records
* Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers
* Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and proprietary software
* Proficiency in English and in MS Office
* High degree of accuracy and attention to detail

What will you be doing?
Key Responsibilities
* Record day to day financial transactions and complete the posting process
* Verify that transactions are correctly recorded
* Enter data, maintain records and create reports and financial statements
* Process accounts receivable/payable in a timely manner
* Supporting the development of improved ways of working.
* Liaising with our accountant/auditors regarding queries and updates
* Monitor the payment platforms such as stripe and sum up and ensure appropriate reconciliation
