Job Description
3. Manage accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate transactions.
4. Reconcile bank statements and financial records to maintain accuracy.
5. Assist with preparing financial reports and documentation for internal and external use.
6. Support the monthly and year-end financial close processes.
7. Maintain and organise financial records and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
8. Collaborate with team members to resolve discrepancies and improve processes.
9. Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities as required.
10. Provide general administrative support to the accounting and finance team
The Successful Applicant
A successful Finance Assistant should have:
11. Previous experience in an accounting or finance-related role in the retail industry.
12. A solid understanding of financial processes and accounting principles.
13. Proficiency in relevant accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
14. Strong numerical and analytical skills with great attention to detail.
15. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
16. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
17. A qualification or progress towards one in accounting or finance is advantageous but not essential.
