The Role
* Lead the design and delivery of greenfield data engineering projects from concept through to production
* Build and maintain robust data pipelines, transformations, and orchestration workflows
* Design cloud based data solutions starting from source systems
* Deploy and manage environments, with a focus on reliability and scalability
* Take ownership of projects and act as a technical point of contact for stakeholders and clients
* Contribute to ongoing optimisation and improvement of the data platform
Your Skills and Experience
* Strong commercial experience using Python and SQL in data engineering environments
* Proven ability to lead projects independently and take responsibility for delivery
* Experience building data pipelines, transformations, and workflows in modern data stacks
* Confidence communicating directly with stakeholders and clients
* Comfortable working autonomously in a fast moving, remote environment
* Experience with infrastructure as code such as Terraform is beneficial but not essential
