We are offering a great opportunity to join Salford’s Safeguarding Children’s Partnership as the Head of Business and Impact Lead. We seek an enthusiastic individual with experience in partnership working to lead the partnership's impact and strategic priorities, ensuring effective delivery and evidence of impact for children and families.
The ideal candidate will be passionate about safeguarding children, possess detailed knowledge of best practices, and have experience working with partner agencies at a strategic level. You should be self-motivated, experienced in management and leadership, and knowledgeable about relevant legislation, policies, procedures, and multi-agency working.
The successful candidate will oversee operational delivery, support the partnership, promote a learning culture, ensure statutory compliance, and develop strategies to strengthen safeguarding arrangements, including report writing and data analysis to benefit children and families in Salford.
What are we looking for:
* At least 5 years post-qualifying experience in safeguarding roles.
* Leadership and management experience in supervisory roles.
* Strong case review and analytical skills supporting thematic learning.
* Professional credibility through relevant experience.
* Experience using strength-focused and relational approaches for outcomes.
* Alignment with Salford’s values and behaviors.
* Deep knowledge of legislation and law related to children and families.
* Understanding of complex casework processes and procedures.
