Your Responsibilities
As our new Year 2 Teacher, you will:
✅ Plan and deliver engaging and creative lessons that inspire and challenge young learners.
✅ Support children in developing key reading, writing, and numeracy skills in preparation for Key Stage 2.
✅ Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all children feel valued.
✅ Monitor and assess student progress, providing tailored support to help every child succeed.
✅ Build strong relationships with parents and carers to support pupils' learning and development.
✅ Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practices and enhance teaching and learning.
What We’re Looking For
✔ A qualified teacher with QTS (or equivalent).
✔ Experience teaching in Key Stage 1, ideally in a Year 2 setting.
✔ A strong understanding of phonics, early literacy, and numeracy development.
✔ A creative and engaging teaching style that excites and motivates young learners.
✔ Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
