Lick Me I'm Delicious creates wildly inventive experiences for some of the world's most exciting brands. We deliver around 250 events a year built around 17 original inventions - from liquid nitrogen ice cream to edible helium balloons. We’re looking for an Account Manager to help us convert, grow, and keep the clients who make that possible.
The Role
This is a relationship-led sales role at the centre of a fast-moving business. You’ll manage a live pipeline of up to 100 active enquiries at any given time - converting inbound leads into confirmed bookings, maintaining long-term client relationships, and proactively re-engaging accounts who are overdue a reason to come back.
Selling at LMID isn’t about pressure or scripts. Clients book us because they trust us to understand their brief and point them toward the right solution. That trust gets built in conversation, so the ability to pick up the phone, ask the right questions, and make an honest recommendation is what this role is really about.
What You'll Be Doing
Managing inbound enquiries across three distinct channels - Events, Exhibitions, and Activations - each with its own selling dynamic and client mindset. Producing tailored cost estimates and proposals. Opening every new client relationship with a proper conversation before building the quote. Keeping a pipeline of up to 100 live enquiries moving without letting quality slip.
On the account side: maintaining relationships beyond the booking, handing over cleanly to operations once an event is confirmed, and circling back after delivery, especially when things have gone well, to keep the relationship warm and lay the groundwork for the next one.
There’s also a proactive outreach element. Not cold calling, but re-engaging clients who haven’t booked in a while, or reaching out to accounts who booked at this time last year. It’s always relationship-led, rather than transactional.
You’ll also represent LMID at trade shows and exhibitions - on stand, talking to new prospects and reconnecting with existing clients in person.
What we're looking for
Someone who’s genuinely comfortable on the phone — uses it naturally as part of the process, not as a last resort. Strong listening skills. The ability to make honest, client-first recommendations rather than pushing the nearest available option.
You’ll need to be organised enough to hold a large pipeline clearly in your head (and in the CRM), commercially sharp enough to understand the metrics that matter, and resilient enough to keep a consistent standard when it’s busy.
Experience in events, hospitality, experiential, or corporate services would be an advantage. More important is the instinct to take ownership, follow through, and build relationships that actually last.
