Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated cleaning operative to join our surgery team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in various environments, ensuring that all areas are tidy and presentable. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service, effective communication skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
This job is currently 5 a.m. to 8 a.m. Monday to Friday excluding Bank Holidays. 28 days holiday inc BH.
Responsibilities
* Perform cleaning duties in designated areas, including offices, restrooms, kitchens, and communal spaces. Treatment rooms.
* Ensure all surfaces are cleaned and sanitised according to our cleaning schedules
* Manage waste disposal and recycling processes efficiently.
* Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
* Maintain cleaning supplies inventory and request replenishment as needed.
* Communicate effectively with team members and management to ensure a smooth workflow.
Requirements
* Previous experience in a cleaning role is preferred but not essential.
* A proactive attitude with a drive to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
* Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
* Flexibility in working hours may be required based on operational needs.
