The role
We are seeking to appoint a dynamic, enthusiastic, inspirational and highly motivated professional who will make a significant contribution to our friendly and effective school.
Our KS2 department moved to a mixed class structure in September 2025, with a mixed Year 3/4 and Year 4/5 class. This role is specifically designed to facilitate the teaching of core subjects separately to Years 3, 4 and 5, with the successful post holder focusing on teaching one of the year groups for 4 mornings a week.
The post holder will be responsible for all of the planning, preparation and assessment of the year group's core studies, and be involved in parents' evenings and written reports in the subjects taught. The post holder will collaborate with the mixed-class teacher on all pastoral and safeguarding matters and will also support the wider school with subject leadership.

Please note the interview process will consist of an observed lesson in one of our junior classes, and a formal interview. Information on the lesson observation will be given following a successful shortlisting.

Salary: Grade M3 – M6
Hours: 0.4 – mornings only (Monday-Thursday)
Contract: Fixed term until end of Summer 2026 (this will be reviewed for extension at budget time for the following year).
