A rapidly expanding scientific manufacturing business in Oxford (OX2) has created a new role for a Process Engineer to ensure compliance and drive improvements across their cleanroom manufacturing operations. This is a demanding and wide-ranging role that will form an integral part of the company's future growth and success.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes in cleanroom environments.
* Ensure all manufacturing processes meet regulatory and quality standards, including GMP requirements.
* Monitor and control environmental conditions within cleanroom spaces to maintain compliance.
* Lead troubleshooting on production issues, identifying root causes, and implementing corrective actions.
* Conduct risk assessments and develop validation protocols (IQ/OQ/PQ) for cleanroom equipment and processes.
* Develop and maintain detailed process documentation, including SOPs, work instructions, and training materials for QC and operators.
* Train production staff on manufacturing processes, cleanroom protocols, gowning procedures, and best practices.
Qualifications and Skills
The ideal Process Engineer will have extensive knowledge of good manufacturing practices, cleanroom protocols, ISO 14644 standards, and a proven track record of process improvements in manufacturing environments.
